Rekrytera brett - Interfem's
current project
From January 1 to December 31 Interfem is carrying out a project
called "Rekrytera brett" with funding from Ungdomsstyrelsen. The
project aims to prevent and combat racism and sexism in the
workplace and particularly focuses on strengthening the role and
influence of racialized* women and racialized transpeople within
unions. Work will be carried out with unions in order to improve
and extend their work on equality and diversity. This will be done
through providing the gender equity and diversity officers of
respective unions training and on how to change and counteract
racism and sexism in the workplace and how they, in turn, can train
union representatives.

your workplace and wanted to respond to it?
Do you want to tell us about the racism and sexism that exists
in your workplace? Interfem is gathering stories on how racism and
sexism are expressed in the workplace in order to be able to
identify the problems that exist and come up with solutions and
preventive strategies. The stories that will be gathered will be
used as the basis of training material that Interfem will develop
during 2013. The training materials will be directed to union
representatives with the aim to strengthen their efforts to combat
and prevent racism and sexism in their workplaces.
You can submit your stories anonymously up to an including May
